Soakin' Up the Sun!

It’s that time of the year for a relaxed, fun-filled issue featuring the finest Latin papis! This time around, we’ve found some brand new qvBoyz for our hotter-than-hot Swimsuit Fashion spread. These guys will surely get you in the summertime mood.

Now, aside from the hot men in this issue, you’re also going to see something never seen before in the pages of qvMagazine. As you have probably already figured out from our cover, we have an interview with one of the the hottest singing divas today—Paulina Rubio! She is absolutely amazing! And what makes this issue special is that she is the first celebrity to ever appear on the cover of qvMagazine! Plus, she is also the first female to grace our cover! So please join the excitement, and welcome the first celebrity and the first qvGirl ever!

So why did we choose Paulina as our qv26 cover girl? Well, for many years, Paulina has been one of the most supportive artists for qvMagazine and the Latino community. And when the opportunity came to us to not only interview her, but to have our very own photographer, Luther Orrick-Guzman, conduct an exclusive photo session with the diva, herself, for the cover of qvMagazine, we couldn’t say no. Add to that the fact that she just released a new album called “Border Girl,” and that her hit single, “Don’t Say Goodbye” has been burning up the charts, it was the right time and the right opportunity for qvMagazine and Paulina!

Of course, there’s more great stuff in this issue! For example, we’re also going to show you what’s going on with Latinos in the Great Lakes State of Michigan. We will speak with the coordinator of that state’s “La Comunidad” program for Latinos, and see what great things this organization is doing.

In addition, you’ll get up close and personal with one of the hottest Latino deejays in the country—Los Angeles’ own DJ Angel. This spinmaster, whose work has included deejaying for various stars and even the official Grammys after party, will talk about his music career as well as his personal life—including his biggest inspiration—his daughter.

We also have a light-hearted fiction story written by talented Latino writer Adrian de la Pena.

In all, it’s just the right kind of issue for this time of the year. Enjoy it!
