"Chicos" in Photos!
New photo exhibit in LA features the Latin boyz.

LOS ANGELES-An exciting and sensual new Latin male photo exhibit called "Chico" will be on display April 7 through May 17, 2001 in Los Angeles. The photos comprise some of the best work done by Los Angeles photographer Dino Dinco.

The display will kick off with an opening reception on Saturday, April 7, 2001 from 7-9 p.m. It will include live deejay performances by Julio, Manny C, Omar, and Sparkle.

The exhibit itself can be seen at The Gallery located at 2992 Glendale Boulevard in Atwater Village, Los Angeles. Gallery hours are from noon-5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday and by appointment. For more information, please call (323) 661-8441.

Who Cares About Politics and Voting?
New study shows LGBT voters are now more aware about politics.

DENVER, CO-A new survey conducted by the Gill Foundation shows that lesbian, QV, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals are now getting better educated about political issues and about which candidates support them and their rights.

In regards to voting, some key findings of this report indicate that voting is of great importance to LGBT individuals. In fact, 92% of the LGBTs surveyed indicated they were registered to vote. Another finding indicates that 43% of the LGBTs surveyed, surprisingly, tended to be politically moderate, meaning that they don't necessarily fall into a fully liberal or fully conservative way of thinking.
